Last week during the editing process, apart from a few minor changes to our sequence; including adding in the slow motion affect to certain shots which we feel really intensifies the drama of the action. We focused primarily on the sound track. We added in certain special affects such as the sound of the gunshot which we were very pleased with, and the ambient sound of the rain/ slight thunder cloud which adds authenticity to the rain affect and use of umbrellas. As a group we played around with the program 'GarageBand' to create our non -diegetic score.
As previously mentioned our main idea was to keep the up - tempo jazz score as a main feature of the sequence, we felt that this set the scene and tone of the thriller opening. Moreover, we had decided to slow down the tempo of the song to give it a haunting and sinister edge, as can be seen from the screen shot, we attempted this by slowing down the tempo, although this did not make much of a difference.

The soundtrack to our thriller opening is going well so far and although there are certain elements that we are struggling with, like matching the soundtrack to the action - we feel that we made good progress last week in regards to editing.
